Labor Day Lobsterfest Weekend, Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 4 PM
Military bateaus, horse powered ferryboats, and sleek mahogany speedboats are among the variety of boats that have played a major role in history of Lake Champlain.
You and your family are encouraged to join in the fun and excitement of the cardboard boat challenge. The objective is to construct a human powered boat made of cardboard boxes and cardboard tubes that will hold a minimum of two people and float long enough to travel a race course for at least one lap.

Build boats on site, 2 PM to 4 PM race day
Some construction material will be available - cardboard and clear tape.
Box cutters to be used under adult supervision.Or bring a pre-made boat.
Race at 4 PM
Judging will be based on some or all categories depending on number of entries
