Attending church in Wadhams is a welcome interude to reflect on the meaning of my experience and to deepen my religious understanding and ethical commitments in service to others. Rev. Steve Smith's sermons are especially thoughtful and thought-provoking. Sharing the liturgy, music, and scripture with others provides a supportive fellowhsip centered around shared hopes, beliefs and concerns of the congregation and community. Robert - April 2008. |

For the last thirty years, I have been a member of the Wadhmas UCC. My faith has grown and taken new avenues because of the inspiration of worshipping here with others from diverse backgrounds and beliefs. I have found dear friends here over the years. We are especially fortunate to have the Reverend Steven Smith as our pastor. He is a gifted preacher and counselor and the worship services that he prepares lead me to a deeper understanding of my beliefs. Carole - April 2008. |

Our church is very informal. We share our joys and concerns, adding names and updating news of people on the prayer list, and announce upcoming events at the beginning of each service. Steve, our minister, has a way of dramatizing his sermons so that he holds my attention. He is good at interpreting Bible times in terms of today, connecting history, making it relevant with now. |
